You should be aware that when you buy or rent a house, or lease a residential berth you are legally bound to adhere to certain covenants and the Company, POSOL, is responsible for ensuring full observance by both shareholders and tenants. The covenants and guidelines should not be viewed as restrictive but there to reinforce good neighbourliness and help enhance the quality of life for all who live here.

There are a large number of rented properties and we would emphasize to all landlords that they do have a legal obligation to ensure that tenants are made aware of the covenants to avoid both any possible embarrassment or unnecessary breaches.

The guidelines are only a general guide, if you have any queries or require further information how the covenants affect your property, we would advise you to seek advice from your solicitor or agent. Many covenants and guidelines are based on simple courtesy and commonsense.
